Join us as we celebrate inclusion! March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and we are excited to celebrate the talents, accomplishments, and contributions of our DC developmental disability community. We have a great line up of speakers and performers and look forward to entertaining you! Register for this free and exciting event at eventbrite.com.
We will welcome Mayor Muriel Bowser and DDS Director Andrew Reese to share with us their vision for a DC that celebrates our disability community! We join many people across the country in celebrating inclusion!
Accessibility and Language Access: The event space and bathrooms are wheelchair accessible. ASL interpretation and CART services will be provided. We would like to create a no-fragrance environment to support the participation of people with chemical sensitivity, so please refrain from wearing perfume/cologne or cosmetic products with a strong scent. For any other access needs, language access requests, or questions, please contact Alison Whyte, [email protected] or 202-727-8005.
Note about photography: Please do not use flash photography at this event. There will be a professional photographer present who will not use flash photography. Photographs taken at this event may be used on social media and promotional materials. If you don't want to have your picture taken, you can get a badge at the registration table that will let photographers know that you don't wish to have your photo taken.
